Here is what you can expect:
A couple weeks after your new carpet is installed, 3M will send you a kit in the mail with 3 cleaning solutions, instructions, and a 1-800-352-6789 to call in case of a stubborn stain. If or when a stain occurs, always start with our recommended Resista® carpet cleaning products. If the above doesn't remove the stain, use the 3M provided cleaning solutions as directed in the provided instructions. if that doesn't work, call the 1-800-352-6789 and tell them what happened
Depending on the situation, 3M may skip or combine the following steps as needed:
Provide new instructions to use a combination of those 3 cleaning solutions
Send out a professional spot cleaner to try their hand and cleaning the stain
Require that the carpet is professionally cleaned with hot water extraction by a licensed professional
Approve the replacement of the carpeting in the continuous area** with like and kind
